2008 Chestnut Colt

 

Chance, whose registered name is AMR Chances are Poco, is a great colt out of one of our best mares, April and our fine stud Bear. He was the first born in our colt crop this year.  Ali named him Chance because the first thing Mike said when we saw him was "What are the chances that a palomino and black would make that color?" We were also surprised by the three white spots on his face. April has thrown every color in the rainbow so we are not too shocked by his color.  She has made a brown, bay, two palomino's, a sorrel and now a chestnut so we are just happy to have this shapely, inquisitive and athletic young colt.
