2007 Sorrel Colt

Twister , whose registered name is AMR Little Pine King, is a great sorrel 2007 colt. He kept changing color on us so we really didn’t know what he would end up as but right now he is sorrel with a flax mane and tail with a lot of gray coming in on his tail.  He is the second colt out of the cross of our horses Freckle and Bear. His older brother Picket was trained to be a competitive roping horse for an eight year old boy in junior rodeo. We think Twister is a great calf roping horse prospect.   He will not be terribly tall, maybe 14.2 or 14.3 like his mother.   He will be really wide as both of his parents are and he is built the same way.   He has a very nice hip and his shoulder and chest balance him out just right.   He has the cutest head of the whole colt crop his year. Just like his dam, he is built like the foundation horses that made the quarter horse breed great. He will be able to take a lot of work and still be able to play hard too. He is very quick and very smart and moves right.   He has been professionally started under saddle.
