This page lists all the male horses we have in our pastures that are not yet gelded. We like to allow our young boys to mature as much as possible before we geld them. This allows them to reach their full potential. A few of them might be stud prospects so we will let them prove themselves before we decide if we should leave them as stallions. Most of these horses will be cut when the time is right. If you see one you want left as a stud please let us know that you prefer we not geld him. If you are looking for a gelding and think one of these horses might be a fit for you that is easy to resolve.

Zeus

Zeus

Zeus is the first foal out of Grace out of our wonderful stallion Reno. I have been waiting for this foal since we met Grace. She won my heart the day she was born for a lot of reasons. In training she rode like the fluid athlete that we knew she would be and she… Continue Reading

Chaps

Chaps

If you wanted to describe the perfect buckskin colt I think this guy would do it for you. He is out of Reno and Dos who is starting to prove herself as one of our strongest producers. This colt is certainly a stud prospect or would make a high dollar gelding prospect for sure. He… Continue Reading

Nero

Nero

This little black colt is as cute as a button. He is out of Oso and Que. He is jet black like both of his parents and is marked up almost exactly like his sire. I think he will take after his momma and be on the short side but if he does like his… Continue Reading

Slade

Slade

Slade, whose registered name is AMR Play Slade, is our last foal out of April and he is a full brother to last year’s high selling weanling at our production sale. He is super shapey. His older siblings have made great ranch and rope horses and are super easy to get along with. He has… Continue Reading

Mac

Mac

Mac, whose registered name is AMR Poco Sugar Mac, is a stand out colt. This guy is huge for his age, good natured, great bone, he ought to be a great head horse prospect. He is the first offspring out of one of our most powerful buckskin mares. We are so happy that we made… Continue Reading

Moses

Moses

Moses was an orphan that hated the bottle so he was a little behind but is catching up quickly, In the last month he has shot up in height a bunch and filled out lots too! He is already bigger than some of his peers that were much taller than he was at weaning time.… Continue Reading

Coy

Coy

Coy is a colt that has big hoof prints to fill so to speak and I believe he will have no trouble doing just that. He is out of Gus and Bethel and you could not have a better cross if you want athleticism, cow and intelligence. Bethel has made a whole string of outstanding… Continue Reading

Hick

Hick

Hick is such a cute prospect out of Gus and Dyna. There will never be another full sibling of his since we gelded his poppa and sold his momma. Both of those were hard choices to make especially once this cute colt was part of our family. His sire is amazingly athletic and cowy and… Continue Reading

Bone

Bone

We bought Bone in the thought that he might make a stallion some day but we are leaning to the idea that he will be a fantastic gelding. He is easy on the eyes and very friendly. He is usually in the middle of the pack and wants to make you happy.  Since we are… Continue Reading

Cleat

Cleat

We bought Cleat from the Spader Ranch sale as a stud prospect. We have decided that he is going to make a tremendous gelding as we are no longer looking for a new stud. We are selling him as a prospect. If we get to the point that we start training him we will probably… Continue Reading

Taos

Taos

Taos is pretty cute! He was conceived really late in the season and momma got sick and had a really hard winter so he was stunted during pregnancy. He is shapey which more than makes up for his smaller stature. We plan to start him and make him a kids rodeo horse. It will be… Continue Reading

Rowdy

Rowdy

We bought this cute colt from the Come to the Source Sale when he was a baby. We were looking for a colt that could be a stud prospect or make an outstanding gelding and this one is a cute one for sure. Being black with some nice white markings make him flashy enough that… Continue Reading

Repeat

Repeat

We named him Repeat because that is exactly what he is, a repeat of all of the great horses that this cross produced before him. He is stout and pretty, he is made right, he is calm but very athletic. He is all that you could ask for in a perfect ranch horse prospect. When… Continue Reading

Clyde

Clyde

Clyde is the only horse on the property that we raised but we don’t own either parent. His sire is the amazing Frenchman’s Easy Doc. His dam is a mare named QCS Dynamite that we traded for and when we were bringing her home from Montana we dropped her off in South Dakota to get… Continue Reading

Baloo

Baloo

This is a very nice colt that has screamed stud prospect from day one. This cross of Bear and Bee has always made really athletic horses that are really pretty with tons of potential. He certainly fits that bill. It will be so exciting to see what he becomes! He goes to the trainer very… Continue Reading
