2011 AQHA gray stallion, Gin and Sugar.
We just love Gus. We bought him from the A- Ranch sale and have absolutely no regrets. Mike Armitage said that he was certainly a stud prospect and we agree. We have sent him for professional training and plan to work him at the feed yard for a while to give him a chance to fully develop his cow savvy. After that we will finish him in the direction in which he shows the most promise. We plan to breed him to a few mares next year and would take a limited number of outside mares. If you have a mare that you would like to cross with him just let us know. We look forward to seeing what he produces. He has lots of bone and is sure built like one aught to be. Of course we would not even consider him a stud prospect without a first rate pedigree. What we love most about him is how kind he is. He is quiet and has a great attitude. The trainer fell in love with him too. This colt likes to rope, is very cowy and athletic, and wants to do a good job for his partner. It will sure be fun seeing what develops with this one.
