Slade

Slade

May 29, 2017 Chestnut turning to Gray Stallion, AQHA # 5822040 AMR Play Slade

Slade, whose registered name is AMR Play Slade, is our last foal out of April and he is a full brother to last year’s high selling weanling at our production sale. He is super shapey. His older siblings have made great ranch and rope horses and are super easy to get along with. He has an older maternal brother that did a great job for is owner in the USTRC. Two of his maternal sisters are broodmares already with a couple more that probably will be in future years. We really won’t be able to ever make another one like this one so help yourself to a kind and hard working colt that is cute as a button and bred to be an outstanding work partner or arena prospect. I put gray on his papers because he does have white hairs all over his body and they seem to be increasing in number but he might be slow to completely go gray so at the  moment he is a cool, dark chestnut rabicano. He did not sell at our sale as a weanling because he dinged his leg on a fence that morning. He is 100% sound and really growing up nicely. We are very excited to see this special colt grow up He should make a great breakaway, calf or heal horse prospect.
