2012 AQHA buckskin mare, AMR Tres Poca Buena.

Tres is the third of three matching buckskin mares out of the excellent cross of Bear and April. This is foundation breeding at its best. They are super cowy and have lots of quickness. This cross makes a stout, big hearted worker and in the case of the mares, first rate producers in any breeding program. Since we lost Bear there won’t be any more like this one. I haven’t done the math but there is a very high percentage of Poco Bueno here. Their older brother is an excellent team roping horse being used in the USTRC. We have retained one of these three mares to replace their momma in our program. You really don’t want to miss your opportunity to own one of them. This mare is athletic and ready to go in any direction. She is an eye-catcher for sure and has nice correct conformation. She has lots of bone and a curious willing attitude. She has that pretty head and heavy hip that all breeders try to achieve. Her two older sisters are both broodmares so of course we think she is suited for that route but we wanted to ride her first. With more seasoning she will be a bombproof kid horse. She already is gentle for almost anyone. She is not marish at all and can be around other horses like a gelding. A 12 year old has been doing ranch work on her with no issues. She will be used by a seasoned ranch hand on cattle until sale time and is ready to be whatever you need her to be.

Updated: Tres sold at our 2017 production sale to a dream home on a working ranch in Kansas. She will be well loved and well used by this great family for her whole life! We are delighted when we get to make friends through our horses.
